I am Becca Gould.
I am a graphic designer based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I have experience in print design, web design, multimedia production, and content creation.
I have completed projects for Cavalry FC, Spruce Meadows, Sport Calgary, Mount Royal University, and SAIT.
I hold a diploma in New Media Production & Design from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and an extension certificate in Digital Media Marketing from Mount Royal University, both acquired in my hometown of Calgary. I also hold professional certifications in Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
For my personal creativity, I enjoy creating digital artwork, capturing and editing photos of sports and landscapes, and live-streaming on Behance. Mental health is a cause I care about as it has made a profound impact on my life, which has also been a catalyst to my personal creativity.
I unfortunately have also experienced many moments of frustration and resentment whenever I see Comic Sans being misused or overused on posters and signage in everyday life. *sigh*
Outside of design, I am currently involved in Alberta's local running and track & field community as an athlete, an official, and a photographer. I'm working towards Level 5 (Olympic) Track Starter certification.
I am also an avid hiker, a yogi, and enjoy going out to the mountains as well as spending time with my family and friends, in person and online.
