About Me

I am Becca Gould.
I am a sports graphic designer based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I have experience in print design, web design, multimedia production, and content creation.
I hold a diploma in New Media Production & Design from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in my hometown of Calgary with professional certifications in Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
My current professional goal is to gain industry work experience as a graphic designer with an agency or in-house design firm, ideally in the sports industry.
For my personal creativity, I enjoy creating digital artwork, capturing and editing photos of sports and landscapes, and live-streaming on Behance and Twitch. Mental health is a cause I care about as it has made a profound impact on my life, which has also been a catalyst to my personal creativity.
I unfortunately have also experienced many moments of frustration and resentment whenever I see Comic Sans being misused or overused on posters and signage in everyday life. *sigh*
Outside of design, I am currently involved in Alberta's local running and track & field community as an athlete, an athletics official, and a photographer. I'm working towards Level 5 Track Starter certification.
I am also an avid hiker and enjoy going out to the mountains as well as spending time with my family and friends, in person and online.
